ETHICAL PRODUCTION

ETHICS – They track their production through every step of their supply chain and make sure their creations are made consciously from start to finish. From the sourcing of their gems, their gold, silver and brass to the way stonemasons, silversmiths and their direct team members are treated and paid.

FAIR PAY – They guarantee that all the people involved in the production of their products receive a fair wage and benefits for their skills and services. They feel blessed to work with a team of great people, and each team member feels like family.

REUSABILITY – Producing in a sustainable way means that they don’t take more than they give back to the environment. All their jewellery is made from certified recycled silver or brass. There is enough silver and brass circulating on the planet and they find it unnecessary to encourage further mining.

ECO-FRIENDLY – They try to keep their carbon footprint as low as possible. The silver and brass used in their jewellery is recycled with a green certificate, ensuring the purest possible waste process. Being based in Southeast Asia, they are more directly exposed to the results of pollution and toxic waste and feel a strong incentive to have a positive impact on the environment through the work they do.

VEGAN – all their products including their packaging are produced without the use of animal products or by-products.

GIVING BACK – Our future lies in the children and the women who give birth to them – that’s why Ananda Soul is committed to creating a brand that supports women and children in the communities where they produce and create their products.

For the past seven years, they have been working with mothers of street children in Bali. By employing these mothers, they help them to break the patterns of poverty. In addition, a portion of each order goes to sponsor the education of a less privileged child in northern Bali.

WITH LOVE – All their jewellery carries intention and prayers for peace in your life and in the world. Some of the jewellery has special symbolism and engraving. Their gemstones have been purified and blessed with Balinese prayers.

TO CHANGE LIVES

One of the founding principles of Ananda Soul is to empower the less privileged families in Bali.

One way to do this is by employing mothers of street children to work with the Soul Purpose collection, so they can stop sending their children out to beg and instead be able to give their children the opportunity to go to school.

They also work with a wonderful organisation in Bali that sponsors the education of children who would otherwise not be able to go to school.
